The Spread Master installs underneath the arc tube of your HID lamp (the part that generates the light). This area creates a tremendous amount of radiant heat and what is known as a "hot spot" of concentrated light. The Spread Master effectively diffuses the light and heat allowing for a more even light spread across your garden canopy and significantly reduces radiant heat. This allows you to lower your reflector closer to the plant canopy which when used properly can increase light uniformity across your garden and increase plant growth and ultimately lead to higher yields.

How does it work?
The Spread Master installs underneath the arc tube of your HID lamp (the part that generates the light). This area creates a tremendous amount of radiant heat and what is known as a “hot spot” of concentrated light. The Spread Master effectively diffuses the light and heat allowing for a more even light spread across your garden canopy and significantly reduces radiant heat. This allows you to lower your reflector closer to the plant canopy which when used properly can increase light uniformity across your garden and increase plant growth and ultimately lead to higher yields.

Why two different sizes:
There are two different sizes of Spread Master for the two typical sized HID Lamps. The MEDIUM is for 250, 400 and 600 watt lamps. The LARGE is for use with 1,000 watt lamps as they are much larger and need the larger size

The Spread Master has the same super reflective properties and design as the Super Spreader. The improved bracket holds the Spread Master tighter and more securely to your socket buy using a round-shaped bracket (the same shape as the socket) and a bolt (not just a slip-on) to secure it in place. It’s all that the Super Spreader is but at a lower cost to you!
