Happy Frog® Jump Start Fertilizer is formulated for use on transplanted seedlings and re-potted container plants. This proprietary mix of fertilizers supplies phosphorus, a nutrient necessary for the early stages of plant growth. It also contains calcium which may help build stronger cell walls and boost the plant’s ability to resist disease. Mycorrhizal fungi are included to help increase root efficiency, which may enhance nutrient uptake and water absorption. OMRI Listed® and Registered CDFA Organic Input Material.

How to Use

NEW CONTAINER PLANTS:
Add 2 tablespoons of Happy Frog® Jump Start Fertilizer per gallon of soil. Fill container with mixture and set plant at appropriate height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant and water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® fertilizer specifically formulated for your plant’s needs.

NEW IN-GROUND PLANTINGS:
Mix 2 parts of your preferred FoxFarm soil conditioner with one part native soil. Add 2 tablespoons of Happy Frog® Jump Start Fertilizer per gallon of soil mixture. Fill hole while setting plant at correct height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant and water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® fertilizer specifically formulated for your plant’s needs.

NEW ROW PLANTINGS:
Prepare bed by mixing a 3-6″ layer of your preferred FoxFarm soil conditioner into existing soil with 1 cup Happy Frog® Jump Start Fertilizer per 10 square feet of planting area and mix thoroughly. Till to a depth of 8-12 inches. Place plant in ground at appropriate depth. Tamp soil gently to secure plant and water thoroughly. Begin a regular feeding schedule in three weeks with a blended Happy Frog® fertilizer specifically formulated for your plant’s needs.
