Solar Gaia takes its name from the Sun, “Solar,” and Earth, “Gaia.” Gaia was believed to be the primordial Goddess of the Earth, creator and giver of birth to the Earth and all the Universe. The heavenly Gods, the Titans, and the Giants were born to her. The Gods reigning over their classical pantheon were born from her union with the sky, while the sea Gods were born from her union with the sea.

As ancient as this story is, Solar Gaia contains the derivative of an ancient source “Leonardite”; this derivative is found in the form of Humic Acid. Humic Acid is an excellent soil conditioner; the presence of carboxylate and phenolate groups gives the humic acids the ability to form complexes with ions such as Mg2+, Ca2+, Fe2+, and Fe3+. The formation of (chelate) complexes is an important aspect of the biological role of humic acids in regulating the bioavailability of metal ions.

Solar Gaia is designed for use in hydroponics, soilless, continuous feed systems, drain-to-waste, and soil applications.
