Azatrol® EC Insecticide

Azatrol® EC Insecticide contains azadirachtin, a botanical insecticide, and miticide with multiple modes of activity and plant protection. In addition to insect growth regulation preventing maturity and reproductions, Azatrol also acts to repel hungry insects, preventing the destruction of plant tissue. Many insect species will also avoid laying eggs on Azatrol treated plant tissue.

These multiple modes of activity are the result of the highly complex azadirachtin molecule. This complexity makes the development of insect resistance virtually impossible.

These attributes, combined with low odor, superior emulsification, and low toxicity to humans and other mammals, make Azatrol the perfect compliment to Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and plant protection in high traffic public venues, including interiorscapes. A systemic product, Azatrol is also labeled for insect control in hydroponic reservoirs and can be used up to the day of harvest.

Recommendations:

Use for control of chewing or sucking insects on indoor or outdoor ornamental plants, lawns, golf courses, trees, shrubs, flowers, fruit and nut trees, and garden vegetables, including plants grown in hydroponic reservoirs. Effectively controls; thrips, spider mites, whiteflies, aphids, moths, caterpillars, cutworms, beetles, weevils, grubs, fungus gnats, leaf miners, worms, leafhoppers, scales, mealy bugs, nematodes, and many more.
